About

Myles Venable is a 6'0" Point Guard and Class of 2028 prospect at Northside High School in Roanoke, VA. A varsity starter as a sophomore, Venable earned Roanoke Times All-Timesland Honorable Mention honors for the 2025–26 season after anchoring the Vikings' backcourt with his perimeter shooting, playmaking, and steady floor leadership. Known for his deep range and ability to catch fire from beyond the arc, Venable has put together a string of high-volume three-point performances — including five triples each against E.C. Glass and Franklin County — that have made him one of the Roanoke Valley's most dangerous young guards.

Scouting Report

A composed, high-IQ point guard with elite three-point shooting range and a quick release. Venable spaces the floor for the Vikings and consistently punishes defenses that go under screens. He reads the game well as a passer, takes care of the basketball, and competes on the defensive end with active hands and quick lateral movement. With two years of high school eligibility remaining, his combination of shooting touch, floor vision, and maturity makes him one of the top young guard prospects in Western Virginia.
